Important Notice: Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

                       Attention: Parents, Caregivers, Teachers and Students

As a precautionary measure taken to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), South Coast Chinese Language School has decided to delay the resumption of class until Friday, 14th February 2020 after approval by the school committee members on 2nd February. All the Lunar New Year Celebration activities initially scheduled on Friday; 7 February will be postponed to term 2.

We would like to  remind any teachers or students who have returned from China recently or been in frequent contact with someone visiting from China, to please refrain from returning to school for 14 days, and to see a doctor if symptoms present themselves.
Please contact us if you have any further enquiries.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Urgent notice to families who have returned from China recently: according to urgent and important notice  from the NSW Department of Health on 27th of January (https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/news/Pages/20200127_01.aspx), all students who were visiting China, especially the city Wuhan, province of Hubei, please stay at home for at least 14 days before going to school. A certificate from doctor is required if you insisted on returning earlier. Thank you for your cooperation from our staff to wish a healthier school environment. Please contact me if you have any concern regarding this matter.
